Time for a new battery? Every time you buy a new basic watch battery, Jon's Fine Jewelry donates the proceeds to a local non-profit organization. The charity for July is the Habitat for Humanity of Brevard County.
Habitat for Humanity of Brevard. Inc has successfully built homes for over 450 families in our community. Their vision is that everyone should have a decent, affordable and safe place to live. Habitat brings people together to build homes and communities. The families earn ownership of their homes by participating in a two-year program that includes contributing in the build process. Construction expenses are kept to a minimum by utilizing volunteer labor and developing partnerships with individuals, churches, students, businesses, and other organizations that provide cash and “in-kind” donations of building materials, services, and property. Habitat obtains operating and program funds through the application for federal and local grants, community fundraising events, ReStore and other donations by generous individuals in our community. Habitat programs include Veterans Build, Women Build. Faith Build and Brevard Build, all for those in need in our community.
